"So Human" Logo Animation
Because LAIKA uses stop motion to create its works, each scene has been touched and handcrafted by a human being, rather than digitally made. To establish this unique quality at the beginning of a LAIKA movie and differentiate the studio from competitors, this logo animation concept shows how each in-house department would physically build the logo in a montage. The following three style frames show what the logo might look like if it were created by the set department, the wardrobe department, and the 3-D printing department. I used a combination of Photoshop and Cinema 4D.
