AMC Network Collateral
The 2016 AMC Network identity rebrand embraced a more confident and emphatic expression of the brand. While still simple and sophisticated in the details, the brand's design, animation, typography, and color palettes had more dynamic range that spoke to the breadth of their programming. The visual identity was bolder and more energetic than before—qualities that I incorporated into the redesign of their print collateral. I used the punchy Avenir Heavy type in all caps that was being used in their on-air graphics for primary information on their business card, letterhead, leave-behind, and envelope, and let the secondary content be understated. The business card and leave-behind were proportioned exactly to the size of the AMC logo's container, with the wordmark embossed to pay homage to the 3D treatment on-air. I also gave them golden yellow edges, reminiscent of the logo's backlighting in the promos.
