AMC Digital Type & Logo System
AMC Network underwent a visual refresh in 2016. I created the type and logo system for their digital platforms (website, mobile site, app, and streaming interfaces), which entailed updating the typography and establishing the placement and size of the updated logo. This project involved establishing an appropriate hierarchy of information with text formatting. All the type is set in Avenir (AMC's official font family), in various weights and capitalization styles — the heaviest weight denoting new sections to lead the eye through the content. This system could be found rippled throughout AMC.com and the other aforementioned platforms.
